Brief Blog Notes Today

I am in the middle of a truckload of school visits (YAY!) this week, which means MORNINGS BOO (it’s like I’m being tortured for my art!  or, you know, tortured in order to talk about my "art", so OK, I guess it’s my own fault really), which means I have to wake up in like six hours, SO: a short blog this week!

First, as always, I wish I’d gotten the names of all the cool readers I met this week, but hello to any of you who have come by the blog!  And a particularly excited hi to Sharon and Joules at RHS, and to Emma, Kayla, Thalia, Hannah, and Meredith in Wyckoff!  I’m sorry I didn’t get the names of the other girls working in the library, but it was SO fun to talk to you guys!  I hope your projects turn out awesome.  🙂

Second, Sunshine and I have been hanging out with Maui for the last few days, so if you want to see some redonkulous puppy photos, check out Sunshine’s latest blog over on the Pet Trouble site!

And third, did you all watch the Glee preview tonight?  Totally thrilling!  Exactly what I was hoping it would be!  Although really, it could have been forty minutes of static followed by the final scene of the glee club singing "Don’t Stop Believin’", and I would still have been madly in love with it.  :-)  I’m only sad we have to wait until fall for more!

But speaking of fall, the TV upfronts are this week, which means thrilling news all week long about upcoming schedules and new shows (well, thrilling if you’re TV-obsessed, not that I know anyone like that), such as: Dollhouse was renewed!  Eeeee!  and Chuck is also coming back!  Yaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!  That’s two out of three of my favorite endangered shows, so I can’t complain about Terminator too much.  Hopefully someone will put Summer Glau back on TV again very very soon.

Unfortunately for Heroes, it looks like it’ll be up against House, Dancing with the Stars, Gossip Girl, AND How I Met Your Mother next year, soooooo…we might really be done with that show.

If you’re curious to see sneak peeks of FOX’s new shows (or you just want to watch a Glee trailer again), you can check them out here.  And click here for ABC’s new shows!  Isn’t technology exciting?

All right, I’d better go to bed instead of reading about TV all night.  I have to be cheerful at another horrifying hour tomorrow morning!  Where do I find the schools that teach at midnight?  Those are the ones I’d really be perfectly suited for.  😉

More next week!
